Intense Pulse Lights stimulate the formation of new collagen fibers. This has a visible smoothing effect on lines. The energy of this procedure focuses on the deeper layers of the dermis, which stimulates cells collagen and elastin production. This treatment should be done as a course of 6 treatments. Starting with 1 treatment a week, followed by 1 treatment every 2 weeks. The collagen continues to develop for 8-12 weeks so you will continue to see the effects over this time. The course can then be followed with a maintenance treatment once a month- or 6 weeks. This treatment can be done as a standalone treatment.
